What is dark circle camouflage? A corrective treatment that minimizes dark circles and discoloration under the eyes using camouflage pigments matched to your natural skin tone. The technique gently blends color, visually brightening the area and creating a rested, even appearance - without fillers or invasive methods.
Will it work on my type of dark circles? It works best on brown pigmentation circles. Blue and purple circles caused by thin skin and visible vessels respond only partially. Hollows caused by lost volume are not a pigment problem at all and need filler instead. We assess this at the consultation and will tell you honestly what result to expect.
What is included in the price? In-depth consultation, custom pigment selection, numbing and a full aftercare kit. Additional sessions are booked and paid separately.
How long do the results last? 1 to 2 years, depending on your skin and sun exposure. Sunscreen under the eyes makes the biggest difference to how long it holds.
Is the under-eye area safe to work on? It is the most delicate area we work with, which is why it is a medical-grade procedure for us: shallow pigment placement, sterile single-use tools and a conservative approach. We build coverage across sessions rather than forcing it in one.
I get cold sores. Can I still do this? Yes, but you need antiviral medication starting 2 days before the appointment and continuing for 3 days after - ask your doctor for a prescription. Without it, the procedure can trigger an outbreak. Tell us about your history when booking.
What does healing look like? The area looks lighter and slightly ashy for the first few days, then the pigment settles into the skin over 3 to 4 weeks. Mild swelling on day one is normal. Do not judge the result before the fourth week.
Who should not have this procedure? Anyone with active skin conditions in the eye area, recent laser or peel treatments within 4 weeks, a tendency to keloid scarring, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tell us about any medical conditions and medications when you book.
