Up Wilshire or Santa Monica Blvd — no freeway needed
From Ocean Avenue or Montana, take Wilshire Boulevard east all the way to Westwood Blvd and turn right. Fifteen to twenty minutes on a normal day. Santa Monica Boulevard east is the alternative when Wilshire is slow around the VA.
From Ocean Park, Sunset Park or Main Street, Lincoln north to Wilshire is the simplest way in. From the north end of town, San Vicente east to Wilshire is a little quicker.
Prefer not to drive? Big Blue Bus routes run between downtown Santa Monica and Westwood/UCLA, and the stop is a few minutes walk from the studio.

The first two weeks after brows or lips are a no-sun, no-ocean stretch — after that, permanent makeup is the one thing that does not wash off in the water.
Two services are especially popular from this side. Nano or powder brows, because a healed brow means nothing to redo after a swim. And the Korean lash lift: no pigment, no downtime beyond 24 hours, and curled tinted lashes that look like mascara through six weeks of beach.
Because sun is the main thing that fades pigment, we go slightly deeper on color for outdoor clients and talk you through SPF on the brows once healed. It is the difference between a refresh at 12 months and one at 18–24.

Questions from Santa Monica clients
How long do I have to stay out of the ocean after brows or lips?
10–14 days. Salt water, chlorine and sun all pull pigment out of healing skin, so the color would heal patchy. After two weeks, swim as much as you like — that is the whole point.
Will the beach make my permanent makeup fade faster?
Sun is the main reason pigment lightens, so yes, outdoor clients refresh a bit sooner — around 12–18 months. Daily SPF on the brows once healed (not during the first two weeks) makes a big difference.
What can I do the day after a lash lift?
Almost everything. Keep the lashes dry for 24 hours and skip waterproof mascara for a couple of days. After that the beach is fine — the lift is not a pigment procedure, so there is no healing window.
Can I get brows done and go surfing on the weekend?
Not the same weekend. Book brows for a week you can stay dry, then the touch-up 6–8 weeks later with the same two-week dry window. Lash lift, on the other hand, works fine around a surf schedule.
Is there a bus from Santa Monica?
Yes — Big Blue Bus routes run from downtown Santa Monica to Westwood/UCLA. The stop is a few minutes walk from the studio. Driving is 15–20 minutes up Wilshire if you would rather not deal with the bus.
Will the brows look natural with a tan?
That is something we plan for. If you are usually tan, we match color to your summer skin so the brows do not look too warm in winter or too cool in summer. Bring a photo of yourself at your darkest tan to the consultation.
How much time should I plan for the whole visit?
Consultation 30–45 minutes. Brows or lips 2–3 hours. Lash lift about an hour. Add 15–20 minutes each way for the drive.
Do you do lash extensions too?
Yes — classic and volume sets, though from Santa Monica the lash lift is far more popular because it is zero-maintenance in water and wind. We will tell you honestly which suits your lashes and lifestyle.
